Common questions
How do I move my data to a new phone?
In Settings › Your data, choose “Export a backup” and save the file. On the new phone, open the same screen and choose “Import a backup”. Importing replaces everything on the new phone. The file isn’t encrypted, so only send it somewhere no one else can read it, such as AirDrop to your new phone.
How do I start over?
In Settings › Your data, choose “Erase all data…”. The app offers a backup first, and after erasing it shows the introduction again. Tyle Pro stays, because the purchase belongs to your Apple Account.
I bought Pro but don’t see it.
In the app’s Settings, open the Tyle Pro screen and tap “Restore purchases”. Check that the iPhone uses the same Apple Account the purchase was made with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your iPhone’s Settings, choose Apple Account (your name) › Subscriptions › Tyle. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the paid period.
What happens when Pro ends?
Your data stays. Bond wallets keep showing their value and counting in the plan, and you can still redeem, withdraw or transfer their bonds. You can’t add new bonds until you’re back on Pro. The other Pro features switch off.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does the app send my data anywhere?
No. Everything you enter stays on your phone. The app only downloads public data. See the privacy policy.
Why is my result different from my bank’s calculator?
Tyle taxes only profit, can account for inflation, takes spending at the start of each month and adds savings at the end. Other calculators often assume differently. You can change every assumption in Settings › Assumptions.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Tyle is iPhone only for now.
