Privacy policy

Effective 22 October 2026

On this page

This policy explains what data the Tyle iPhone app and the gettyle.app website process. In short: everything you enter in the app stays on your phone. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Łukasz Cholewka. For anything about privacy, write to kontakt@gettyle.app.

What you enter in the app

Your wallets, amounts, goals, debts, plan, assumptions, name, birth date, country, and your income and how it’s taxed (if you enter them) are saved only on your phone. Widgets read them on the same device. We never send them to a server and have no access to them.

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud, Apple may include them; we have no access to it.

You can export a copy to a file (Settings › Your data › Export a backup). The file goes wherever you save or send it and isn’t encrypted, so keep it safe.

If you turn on “Back up to iCloud Drive automatically” (Settings › Your data), the app saves the same file once a day in a Tyle folder in your iCloud Drive and keeps the last 10. It goes straight to Apple, not through our server, and we have no access to it. The app doesn’t encrypt the file; your Apple Account protects it.

The Face ID or Touch ID lock works on your phone only: the app never gets your biometric data, only iOS’s answer whether unlocking succeeded.

Notifications (for example about a new bond offer) are scheduled on your phone, without our server.

What the app downloads

The app only downloads public data, the same for everyone:

  • from the gettyle.app server: data such as the treasury bond offer, news and links to creators’ materials, inflation (Statistics Poland’s price indices and the National Bank of Poland’s projection), the National Bank of Poland’s reference rate, average rates on new loans, the National Bank of Poland’s exchange rates and the IKE and IKZE payment limits;
  • only with Pro, from Statistics Poland’s server (stat.gov.pl): inflation in past years.

None of these requests contains anything you enter. Like any internet connection, they do reveal your IP address and basic technical details (such as the system version) to the server. Our server keeps no access logs with IP addresses. It records only what it needs to run the service, such as whether a request succeeded. Statistics Poland’s server handles this data under its own rules.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering up-to-date data to the app and protecting the server from abuse.

In-app purchases

You buy Tyle Pro through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive neither your card details nor your name. The app adds a random identifier, made on your device, to the purchase. It goes only to Apple (through StoreKit, Apple’s purchase system) and isn’t linked to your identity.

Apple’s practices are described in Apple’s privacy policy.

The gettyle.app website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. The calculator on the home page runs in your browser and sends nothing. The website’s server keeps no access logs, so it doesn’t record visitors’ IP addresses.

Email

If you write to us, we process your email address and message to reply (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Giving your email address is voluntary, but we can’t reply without it. We keep the correspondence for 12 months after the matter is closed, then delete it.

Hosting and recipients

The website, the server the app downloads from and our email are hosted by OVHcloud on servers in the European Union. OVHcloud processes data only on our behalf. We don’t transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Write to kontakt@gettyle.app. We’ll reply within one month.

We don’t profile you or make automated decisions about you.

You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

Children

Tyle isn’t meant for children and doesn’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll publish the new version here with the date it takes effect. We’ll describe important changes on this page.
